Nursing Mothers Alliance (NMA) is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization that serves the Philadelphia Western Suburbs. We are an organization of peer counselors supporting families and all combinations/variations of supplying babies and toddlers with human milk. We offer non-medical support, encouragement, and information. All counselors have chest/breastfed their own children for at least six months and received comprehensive lactation and counseling education.

A nursing parent, or anyone supporting them, may contact us via phone, text messages, or email. A trained counselor will contact you directly via phone or email to address your needs. NMA also provides classes and events, one-to-one peer support, and runs free support groups.

Our in-person meetings are on hold due to Covid-19. Meanwhile, you can find us on our private Facebook support group that can be found here: facebook.com/nursingmothersalliance. Contact us for more information or assistance!
